The Cameras

The Cameras:

The Sony A200 is a Digital SLR camera, SLR stands for Single Lens Reflect, and this is the digital version of the Olympus which is seen below, The attraction of an SLR camera is the ability to see, through the view finder, exactly what the finished picture is going to look like. this is then coupled with the easily interchangeable lenses and the chance to add additional Flash kits and lens filters. The Sony A200 is a 10.2 Megapixel currently using a 18-70 all rounder lens, which is Sony in brand. I also use a UV filter which prevents Ultraviolet light to penetrate. Ultraviolet light creates haziness and fogginess, so in using the filter my pictures will always maintain the full crispness and will not be compromised. I also use a Polarising Filter, a polarising filter, used both in color and black and white photography, filters out light polarised perpendicularly to the axis of the filter. This has two applications in photography: it reduces reflections from some surfaces, and it can darken the sky.
